Tom Taylor is one of the brightest minds telling stories at the intersection of human potential, technology and sports. Growing up in the U.K., he dreamed of becoming an astronaut. He became a pilot and completed a PhD. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University before following his curiosity into a career in sports journalism and Columbia University where he completed an M.S. in Journalism.

Through his work for Sports Illustrated, SportTechie and other outlets, Tom has learned and written about topics as varied as disability and data privacy, nutrition and degenerative brain disease, the future of the NFL combine, equality and entrepreneurship, genetics and the Vietnam War. 

His travels have taken him all over the world and his personal experience encompasses rowing, bike racing, coaching, flying, mixed gas SCUBA diving and more.
